I recently stored my winter tires with Kal Tires, and the experience was excellent. The entire process was easy, and the staff, particularly the store manager, Tom, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Tom went above and beyond to assist me as a customer, addressing a delay with exceptional service. Additionally, I entrusted Kal Tires with my seasonal tire change, and the transition was seamless. I highly appreciate the level of customer care and professionalism displayed by the team at Kal Tires, making both the tire storage and seasonal change processes stress-free and efficient.

I’ve been coming here for a few years, didn’t have any concerns up until this visit. I was told that I needed a full brake job, and was given a price to get them done. I was told that I should be getting my front brakes done within the week as they were so bad. I told them I preferred to go to my mechanic for this. I brought my car into my mechanic, and was told that my brakes were not needing to be done at all, my rear brakes were in mint condition and my front brakes have quite a bit of life left in them as well. He also told me that my winter tires that Kal tire just installed for me were completely bald. I find it very interesting that a tire shop would dismiss my bald tires, but tell me I needed an entire brake job instead. As a female, I definitely feel like you have to be careful where you go so that you aren’t taken advantage of when it comes to this stuff. I won’t be coming here again.

My appointment to install new tires was for 4:30, I didn't get out of the shop until 6:15. This store has a broken process. Only one person mounts the tires, so the other five staff in the store are standing around, which is bad enough. But I found it incredulous that the one person mounting tires, continually stopped working to wander off. For example, whenever a car pulls into a bay, this one guy mounting tires abandons the tire mounting work, and goes to guide them in, while the other non-productive employees that are just standing around, just stand around. Tire mounting is a bottle necked task, and you need to fix this bottle neck. Preferably by double or tripling the number of mounting stations. It would have been nice if my tires were mounted before my arrival, and I get it that as the manager explained you want to check you have the correct rims, but why are you punishing all your customers on the odds that the rims might not fit. Does it really happen that often that the parts are miss-ordered and you need to inconvenience all customers, by not having the new tires mounted on the new rims prior to our arrival? I see this as a half hour job, not an hour and 45 minutes. One final mention is that your employees should not be treating your parking lot as a race track when they bring cars back and forth. Definitely not a satisfied customer.

Brought my car in to have the breaks that the Kal Tire team changed looked at after some bad squealing while breaking POST break change. The team let me know the breaks are fine but my car was not road safe, my exhaust could fall of any day, and listed allllll the work that needed to be done. Upon a second opinion, the car is actually safe to drive, and the work Kal Tire recommended was either fine or not urgent. The fear and urgency the Kal Tire team instilled was unnecessary and lacking honesty - Car owners beware.

I went to this place after reading through the reviews on Google and the reviews are spot on. I wasn't planning on coming here till another 5 months as the tread depth was still good. Unfortunately hit some scrap metal on the 401 and got a flat. I was towed to Kal tire and Christian pretty much got me in as I called from the En Route in Dutton. We went over options. The 21 inch rims on the Model Y aren't a very common tire size. Christian went above and beyond and got a set of tires on the the day freighted down from Cambridge to London and he got me out the door that day with a tire alignment. Highly recommended place. Christian is definitely an asset to this place. Will definitely be coming back here for future tire work.

I went in for my seasonal tire swap, service was fine. Was warned before service if my alignment was off they would do the alignment for $135 (front and rear). Once the service was done, they showed me the results and the front was off. So I was charged $135 for only a front alignment. Won’t be returning. Shouldn’t be charging $135 for only a front alignment.

One of the best and highest customer service experiences and work I have ever experienced in my life. Specifically, Christian, was very friendly, fast, and such a non pressure relaxed environment. I highly recommend this Kal Tire (on Wharncliffe and Belmont.) Ask for Christian!

Amazing people ! I brought in my “punctured” tire to get fixed. The nail did not actually puncture the tire, it was only on the surface. They just removed it and gave me back my tire. They didn’t charge me. Thank you for your honesty!
